Work Safety

Worksite Safety is an important aspect for any business, but in the Construction Industry it can be difficult and expensive to manage. The complexity is due to the fact the we are usually manageing multiple sites and each site is changing on a daily basis. Different people on site on any given day and different risks being present as the contstruction process proceeds.

So keeping track of who is on site and what is going on is paramount.

JETPAC have brought together a number of solutions to create a fully automated and integrated environment. The entire system is driven with QR codes which are displayed at appropriate locations around the site. This means that each person coming on site can scan the appropriate QR code on their own phone/device and complete the processes required. All data is gathered automatically and compiled into a spreadsheet for theSafety Manager to review at any time.

The spreadsheet contains

   - Safety Register - This is a list of those people who have gone through the induction video and been able to complete the assessment.  It contains Contact details Safety Cetification details and Next of Kin details.

   - On site List   - This is a list of people who are currently on-site

   -  Visitor LOG  - This is a list of all Site Visitors

   - Incident Reports - This is a list of Incident Reports

 

1. Site Induction / Safety Training.

Using CK5 we have developed a Site Sfatey Training Portal with a Content Object for each site. In this Content Object the Site Safety procedures are described and there is a link to th Site Safety video.

 

2. Site Safety Assessment.

Each Site has an assessment survey built with QS5. This allows Wallace to set their own questions about that site and to set a "Pass Mark" before going on the collect the persons details, Safety quaifications and Next of Kin.

On completion of the survey the system sends an email to the saftey manager. This email is automatically loaded into the Safety Register for that Site.

 

3. Site Entry / Exit

Each movement in and out is processed by a short QS5 survey.

 

4. Incident Report.

Again using QS5, we have created a survey which allows anyone onsite to record an Incident. Key to this is the ability to upload images of the injury, environment, cause immediately so that the incident can be analysed aftyer the event.

 

As the whole process is based arounf QS5 and CK5, it is enormously flexible, new Sites can be added and newsurveys created for different situations. This is a very cost effective solution as it is built upon an established platform.
