CK5 - Google Advertising

Integrating GOOGLE Adverts can be an interesting experience.

 

The initial Setup is quite straight forward by identifing the subject areas, headings and sub-headings you can get your adverts up and running quickly.

Where you need your CMS to work for you is in setting up your site to utilise the analysis and performance reporting features of Google. When doing this we need to consider the following:

 

1) To allow GOOGLE to analyse the traffic, we need to install the Google TagManager.

With CK5, Installing GoogleTagManager is very easy. Simply add the GoogleTagManager to the Site Features and add the Google Id Code into the Site Database. CK5 does the rest automatically.

2) To Allow Google to measute the success of your compaign, Google asks for a URL which can be checked.

CK5 allows us to create a "Success Page" for the enquiry. The CK5 enquiry form can be placed on any page and only when the form has been successfully completed will the user end up on the Success Page.

3) Best practice is to have some check to ensure that the person completing the form is a human.

With CK5 we can easily implement Recaptcha but if you don't want to do this, we have several strategies to help reduce spammers or 'bad actors' completing the form.
