Points to note:
Stan works for Bathroom Solutions; they are a client of WC Plumbing. Stan is in the CRM database as a Client Person of Bathroom Solutions. Bathroom Solutions are a long-standing client of WC Plumbing so have a range of Discounts on various product types and manufacturers. In this case we know that the matt black mixer tap is in a group of products on which Bathroom Solutions gets 22% discount.
Stan opens the email, and as he will be dealing with Mary-Lou clicks through to get details. While reading the article, Stan sees the advert for the matt black mixer tap but he does not see $235.00 as the price, he sees his discounted price ($182.12). Realising this is a good price he clicks through and goes through the order process.
Chris and Carl at WC Plumbing are in the warehouse and after checking in the following day, log into JETPAC. On their Dashboard they see the order from Stan in the list of orders to pick. After picking and organising dispatch the order is marked as complete, Stan get confirmation of dispatch and the invoice is prepared and sent to the Accounts department at Bathroom Solutions.
As Stans order now puts the stock quantity of the taps below the minimum, an email alert goes to the stock manager to highlight the situation.
