Centralised User Management

JETPAC sees a user as anybody associated to your business. You need the ability to understand how they fir into what may turn out to be a complex security environment. So a system that gives you an easy way to see all users in each role is important.

All users are registered in CK5. A user may be assigned to any number of User Groups and a User Group may be either an Open Group or an Invited Group.

An Invited Group can only be managed by a person with permission to Manage Users in CK5

An Open Group means that we expect to have a public link which allows anybody to register for this group. This is the most like lyscenario if you are collecting users for your email marketing.

The registration process will send a confirmation email to the user and a link to finalise the registration. This prevents bots from creating ghost users.

In addition we can automatically add people from the CRM system into the companies email list.

There are standard processes to allow users to create/manage a profile and this data can be used to target specific groups when sending Emails.

All sites are created with two user groups.

  • CK5 Administrators

These are users who have some role in manageing the web site. These can be Content Writers/ Editors, Email Proof-readers, User Group Administrators. Each person can be given access to appropriate to thier role, an editor can be assigned to pages or blocks within a page (eg. A person in HR could be responsible for the Standards Page of the Intranet site but be excluded from the rest of the site pages).

  • Email List.

If  you have JS5 solution(s), Internal System and Client Portal we would set up separate groups for each and your would assign the users to each as appropriate.

With CK5 you can easily manage all your users in a centralised portal.
